Great day of tennis on tap for Wednesday from Indian Wells

The slate of tennis matches in store for us today at the Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA is a virtual “who’s who” in the current world of men’s tennis!  To catch up from late action yesterday first, Murray easily defeated Y Lu, 6 – 3, 6- 2; Del Potro advanced over Phau; Azarenka defeated U Radwanska, 6 -3, 6 -1 but struggled with a right leg/foot injury; and Wozniacki took care of N. Petrova, 7 – 6, 6 – 3.

Today’s round 4 action offers some great matchups: Djokovic vs. American Sam Querrey; Roger Federer against his fellow Swiss player and friend, Stan Wawrinka; Murray back in action against Berlocq; Rafael Nadal vs. Gulbris; Berdych vs. Gasquet; resurgent T. Haas vs. Del Potro; and hard serving M. Raonic vs. the always entertaining J. Tsonga.

Live coverage continues today at 1:30 pm EST on Tennis Channel.  If both Fed and Rafa win their respective matches, they will face each other in the quarterfinals.  Let’s hope we are not disappointed and get to see that happen!
