Heat over Bulls in Chicago, bad behavior continues…

Well one thing is for sure, this Heat – Bulls series is going to be a war, and it is going to be ugly!  These two teams just do not get along.  When you do not do the traditional pregame handshake before the tip-off, well enough said.  Last night in game three the Heat prevailed over the Bulls in Chicago, 104 – 94.  Again, no Rose, Hinrich or Deng for the Bulls.  There were technical fouls and an ejection in the first half so the “brawl” atmosphere continued.  Noah got a technical and Mohammed got a technical and then was ejected after shoving LeBron to the floor.  So the Heat got back the one they lost on their home floor.  Without Hinrich and Deng, and who knows if Rose is coming back, the Bulls are at a real disadvantage in this series.  They may be able to take the next one on their home floor, but you have to think Miami will take this series one way or another when they play back in Miami.  Series currently stands at 2 -1, Heat.

Over in the calm and soothing Western Conference playoffs, the San Antonio Spurs beat the Golden State Warriors on the road, 102 – 92.  They were led by superb  point guard Tony Parker with 32 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.  Both Thompson and Curry were held in check by the San Antonio defense and to add insult to injury, literally, Steph Curry turned the ankle he has had two surgeries on in the 4th period.  His status is unknown although he did remain in the game.  If he is not able to perform at his best, that could be devastating for the Warriors.  San Antonio takes a 2-1 lead in this series.

Tonight, OKC takes on Memphis for game three, series tied at 1-1 and Knicks visit the Pacers with the series tied at 1-1 as well.
