The Izod Indy car racing series got back at it today from Birmingham, Alabama. Ryan Hunter-Reay finished in first place, Scott Dixon finished second and Helio Castroneves (DWTS winner) came in third. Castroneves is the current point leader in the Indy standings. Will Power finished in 5th place. I have to be honest, I watched the Lakers game. I do not know what happened but my guy, Dario Franchitti only completed 42 laps and came in 25th. What is going on with Dario?? Have to check with my Indy insider (see chapter 8, Beach People, the prick from the northeast in my book Surviving “Paradise” by Susan Willoch Shaver). He spots for the Dale Coyne Racing team when it suits him! Ana Beatriz will be racing for this team at least through the Indy 500 along with driver Justin Wilson. Have to check with him to see if he is going to spot for her at this year’s Indy 500!
Indy just signed a two year extension on their sponsorship deal with Verizon.
