Kuchar leads the pack on windy day at the Memorial Golf Tournament

Overcast windy conditions were one of the stories today at the Memorial Golf Tournament in Dublin, Ohio.  It was not, however, nearly as bad as feared and after expected thunderstorms roll through this evening, tomorrow is supposed to be a beautiful sunny day.  After the third round of play, the leader of the pack is GT grad Matt Kuchar at -8 (way to go Kuchar!).  Kevin Chappell and Kyle Stanley are at -6, Matt Jones, Justin Rose, and Bill Haas are at -5, and four players are currently at -4, two of them being Adam Scott and Charles Schwartzel.

Very ugly day (not just weather wise) for Tiger Woods and Rory Mcilroy.  Tiger double bogeyed the 15th (again) and bogeyed 17 and had no birdies to finish at -8.  Oh, and then there was that triple bogey, yikes!  He had the worst 9 hole score of golf in his career (44 on back nine).  Rory appeared to be making progress yesterday but regressed today, finishing at +6.

Coverage of the final round begins tomorrow at 2:30 pm EST on CBS.
