Late interception seals the win for Boise State

Saturday Bowl game wrap up:  In the R & L Carrier Bowl game from New Orleans, L A-Lafayette takes care of East Carolina, 43 – 34.  LA-Lafayette gave LSU a scare earlier this year.

Very exciting game on a beautiful day in Las Vegas.  Boise State wins the Las Vegas Bowl for the third straight year over a Pac-12 opponent in a thriller, 28 – 26 over Washington.  Who says some of the good bowl games don’t come early?  We even had Brent and Herbie calling the game!  The game see sawed back and forth and a late interception of QB Keith Price of Washington, marring what had otherwise been an outstanding performance, sealed the deal for Boise State.  Chris Petersen continues to do a tremendous job at Boise State as they finish the year with eleven (11) wins.  Turnovers also played a role in this game, as Washington had three (3) with Boise State only having one (1).
