OK..latest CFB Polls are out (except for the one that really matters, the College Football Playoff Poll which will come out Tuesday evening on ESPN). Just for kicks and giggles, let’s have a look!
AP Poll: 1 Miss State (48), 2 FSU (12), 3 Oregon (I like it!), 4 Alabama, 5 TCU, 6 Baylor, 7 Arizona State, 8 Ohio State, 9 Auburn, and 10 Ole Miss. (on a personal note, GT at #24)
USA Today Coaches Poll: 1 Miss State (41), 2 FSU (20), 3 Alabama, 4 Oregon, 5 TCU, 6 Baylor, 7 Ohio State, 8 Arizona State, 9 Auburn, and 10 Ole Miss. Again, GT #23.
ESPN Power Rankings: 1 Miss State (10), 2 FSU (1), 3 Oregon (2)!, 4 TCU, 5 Alabama, 6 Baylor, 7 Arizona State, 8 Ohio State, 9 Auburn, and 10 Ole Miss. GT #23
So, the SEC West with Miss State and Alabama and the Pac 12 with Oregon and Arizona State looking pivotal!
Just thought I would toss these new polls out there for you guys!
In London, K. Nishikori took care of Andy Murray in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Roger Federer took the court, intense and maybe a bit angry to face M. Raonic (that defeat in Paris last month!) and won 6-1, 7-6. So Group B has done their thing on day one. Tomorrow Group A takes center stage. S. Wawrinka vs. T. Berdych and N. Djokovic vs. M. Cilic. Action just getting under way but promises to be a great final week of tennis action for this year. Federer has won this event six times, and I would love to see him make it SEVEN!
