Way to go Kuch!!! GT grad Matt Kuchar won the Memorial Golf Tournament in the “house that Jack built” in Dublin, Ohio, topping the leaderboard at -12. Kuchar is the only golfer to have won more than one tournament so far this year on the PGA tour besides world #1 Tiger Woods. Speaking of Tiger, a horrific +8 for Tiger at this tournament, and a not much better and still awful finish at +6 for Rory Mcilroy. Both will look to regroup and get ready for the US Open which starts June 13th. The second place finisher today was Kevin Chappell at -10 and third place went to Kyle Stanley -7 (both of them playing along side Kuchar). Bill Haas and Scott Stallings finished at -6.
Sorry folks, did not watch til the end, still recovering from pulling Roger Federer through that five set win over G. Simon at the French Open to extend his record of consecutive quarterfinal appearances in Grand Slams to 36!
