The Memphis Grizzlies survived OKC this afternoon in game three, 87 – 81 to take a 2 -1 lead in the series. Memphis was led by Marc Gasol (Pau’s baby brother) with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. Nice game for Gasol. Kevin Durant led OKC with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists but missed two critical free throws with about 45 seconds left in the game and only a 3 point deficit. Earlier Derek Fisher had hit a long range three point shot to tie the game, 81 – 81 with 1:58 to play. Grizzlies got it done however, defended their home floor and will now need to follow through and do the same in game four before heading back to OKC.
