The ABC hit drama Nashville returned with a new episode last night! At last…this show is just so good! Love Connie Britton and really impressed with her singing along with Hayden Panettiere as well. For a brief recap: Gunnar goes off the grid a bit after his brother’s murder and Scarlett and Deacon reel him back in. Only problem, Scarlett gets news that she has been offered a solo record deal by Rayna and her new record label so don’t know how that is going to affect Gunnar, his psyche and his budding relationship with Scarlett. Speaking of Rayna, she is still struggling with the divorce and the impact it is having on her two girls. Wonder when she is going to finally hook up with her long time true love, Deacon? Deacon has meanwhile developed a crush on his attractive vet, as he takes his new puppy (birthday gift from Juliette) to the doctor to see what is wrong with his new companion. The tour will be continuing new week in New York and Deacon will show up with his new lady friend and Rayna is going to have to deal with some things in a hurry. Teddy continues to assert himself, not caving into Lamar and hiring Coleman as his Deputy mayor and looking like he really is a man with new found confidence and character. He continues in his relationship with Peggy. Avery ditches his new record label and goes back to The Bluebird in Nashville, returning to his roots hoping to reignite his career and be more true to himself. Still, at the heart of this show, Rayna and Deacon? When is it going to happen? Well, it cannot be simple because if it were, we would have no drama, and thus no show! Stay tuned…continues next week.
