What a performance by the Spurs last night in Miami in game three of the NBA finals, defeating the Heat 111-92. The Spurs scored 41 points in the first period and it was a “team” effort the entire game. Tony Parker had 15 points and showed great leadership. Timmy was, well, Timmy! And Leonard lit it up!! Really interesting dynamic going on here. Last year, the Spurs won game one, lost game two (in Miami) and then returned home to win big in San Antonio. This year, the Spurs won game one going away, lost a close one in game two, and then went to Miami for game three and blew out the defending champs. The difference…this year the Spurs have home court advantage!! GO SPURS! Game four on Thursday night. By the way, hope you all caught the hilarious rant by Mila Kunis on the Jimmy Kimmel pregame show. “We are pregnant”?? NOT. Check YouTube if you missed it! Also, pretty funny “three questions” with Kobe Bryant segment.
Meanwhile, in Halle, Germany, Mr. Federer has yet to serve. Nor has Mr. Nadal for that matter. I believe they will get underway tomorrow (but who knows when it will air on Tennis Channel with the time difference). Federer will face J. Sousa and Rafa will face Dustin Brown. Most of the guys are all having fun playing some doubles as well and Roger and his partner won today. All roads lead to Wimbledon and it would be great to see a Federer – Nadal final!! One can hope…
Motive airs tonight with a new episode on ABC, 10:00 pm EST. If you haven’t watched this show, check it out. It is a sassy, smart, very well done detective series.
