Aftermath of the Boston tragedy, Red Sox win, Celtics lose

One day after the second suspect in the horrific events of this past Monday in Boston, the bombings during the Marathon, was captured and taken into custody (hospitalized in serious condition), the Red Sox took the field at Fenway Park for the first time in a week.  They came from behind in a very emotional day at the ball park to defeat the Kansas City Royals, 4 -3.  Meanwhile, the Celtics who had flown directly to New York, were defeated by the Knicks in game one of the Eastern Conference playoffs, 85 – 79.  Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 36 points.  There was of course a tribute to Boston at the beginning of the game.  Hard to imagine anything more horrible that what that town has been through this week but after watching the events unfold last night, have to say it was wonderful to see outstanding law enforcement do their job!  The crowd cheering them after the suspect was taken into custody was astonishing, I have to admit I stood and applauded as well!  Well done, Boston, and not just law enforcement and the FBI but the people of Boston, specifically Watertown, as well!
