Caught Robert Downey, Jr. on Jimmy Kimmel Show last night. In case you have been locked in a closet or something, his latest Iron Man movie, Iron Man 3 is huge and as someone who saw it the day it came out, I will say it is the best installment in the series so far! Anyhow, Robert Downey, Jr. is brilliant, a hugely talented actor and a really cool, introspective guy. He was at his best on Kimmel and when the conversation turned to the subject of confidence and self esteem, it was both funny and rather enlightening. Downey, Jr. made a comment that I think is worth sharing for those who did not see it. Kimmel asked him if perhaps he had gone from no self esteem to huge self esteem, instead of no self esteem to low self esteem as Downey had said. Robert replied that he was an optimistic guy, after all he said, “if I am not on my team, why should I expect anyone else to be?”
