Roger Federer has announced his intentions after the disappointing second round loss at Wimbledon, and the message is loud and clear! He will play a clay court tournament in Gstaad, the site in Switzerland of his first top-tier match as a professional. He will also play a clay court tournament in Hamburg, Germany before heading to North America for the hard court swing of the tennis season leading up to the US Open. Fed needs to play more competitive tennis, not just practice (ask Tiger Woods how that worked out for him?) and that is exactly what he is going to do. Good news for Fed fans. Look for Roger to come on strong in the second half of the tennis year in 2013. GO FED!
