Roger Federer has pulled out of the Rogers Cup in Montreal, Canada which begins next Monday. First, apologies as I believe I have referred to it as taking place in Toronto in some previous posts. It is in Canada! Also, no reason given. Come on guys! He has a bad back and is trying to get his timing and comfort level where it needs to be with a new larger Wilson racquet. If Roger is not healthy, he should not play. I would expect him to return for the event in Cincinnati the following week (he is the defending champion) if his back allows. Of course, he wants to be in the best form possible for the US Open. Calm down everyone, Roger will be OK. I know it, he knows it, and all of you know it as well!
I hope to see new movie, 2 Guns with Denzel Washington and Mark Walhberg sometime, hopefully early next week. Look for my recap. Seems like a good one, love the pairing of these two.
