Sunday agenda

Sunday, tomorrow, we have a lot to look forward to.  First, the Australian Open final will offer 1 Djokovic vs. 3 Murray.  It will air live at 3:00 am EST with a replay at 9:00 am EST on ESPN.  Could be epic.  Still, I am lamenting Roger Federer’s loss to Murray in the semifinals, but I am sure Roger, Mirka and family are on their way to somewhere beautiful and he will be ready to play in his next scheduled tournament.  So, for now, Djokovic and Murray will go at it in what is becoming a very intriguing rivalry.  Prediction:  Gotta go with Djokovic

The Pro Bowl from Hawaii will air at 7:00 pm EST.  Many great players will be there, not the least of which will be the Manning boys!  Peyton and his little brother Eli (with the great hair) are in Hawaii with their families enjoying the vacation!  Also, Aaron Rodgers and many others.  Matt Ryan of the Falcons was scheduled to compete but due to his injury had to bow out.  Great NFL stars will be there to compete.  Missing in action will be the guys on San Francisco and Baltimore as they prepare for the Super Bowl the next weekend.  (Beyonce is preparing to perform at halftime of the Super Bowl!).  Pro Bowl should be entertaining but it is really an all star game that is a teaser for the real deal, the Super Bowl.  Ready for my Super Bowl prediction?  Well, I want to pick San Francisco but something tells me the Ray Lewis “farewell tour” may just carry the Ravens to a victory.  Stay tuned…I will give my official prediction next week.  The Manning brothers will entertain us tomorrow at the Pro Bowl, and the Harbaugh brothers will take to another level at the Super Bowl next Sunday!

Also, the SAG Awards are on tomorrow night, same time as the Pro Bowl.  The remote should get a work out!  Hope Ben Affleck continues to show the Academy what a bunch of jerks they were to not give him a nomination and takes home Best Director Award.  Look for Argo to take home Best Picture?  Maybe it will be Silver Linings Playbook?  Or will it be Zero Dark Thirty?  Or Lincoln?  What about Best Actor?  If Daniel Day Lewis is nominated, he usually wins.  Guess we will have to watch and see together!
