Well, it is Sunday and they do not play tennis on the middle Sunday at the All England Club. Thank heavens. After this past week, I don’t know if my heart can take any more without a break! Just to rub it in, they replayed the Federer loss. Really? As if it was not painful enough watching it live. Remember, I told you Roger Federer will win again, and yes, it will be a major!! Buckle up, tomorrow is manic Monday at Wimbledon!
OK, saw the movie The Heat today with my younger daughter and her fellow. It was hilarious!!! Is there a funnier woman in show business right now than Melissa McCarthy? Loved her as Sookie in Gilmore Girls. I am so happy to see this wonderfully talented woman having such a huge upsurge in her movie career. And by the way, Sandra Bullock is no slouch either. Look for the huge tabby cat at the end. It is the purrfect ending!! (Ha, Ha, yes pun intended!)
Was expecting the superb CBS drama Unforgettable with Poppy Montgomery to return tonight. Alas, cannot find it on my channel guide. CBS cancelled it twice, then decided (wisely) to bring it back this summer. But when? This is a sharp and sexy cop drama and they left us last season in a place that would be nothing short of cruel to end it on. Um….stay tuned. Will have to do some more investigating to see exactly when we can expect this exciting show to return. Meanwhile, Motive has returned to ABC on Thursdays at 9:00 pm EST. This is a really good one as well.
P.S. Braves won today over the Diamondbacks, 6 -2. Let’s go Braves!
