It is Wednesday, that midweek day when I promote my book Surviving “Paradise” by Susan Willoch Shaver. In the words of a young student writer, in the process of putting together a script/screenplay based on my book, “I had no idea Florida was so lawless! I had to call a couple of my friends to confirm it”. I could only smile. I also have a wonderfully talented young lady who is an honor student at the Atlanta Institute of Art who is reading it and has so many ideas floating through her head. She says Lifetime movie screenplay, and she is only through chapter 6. Stay tuned…this is going to be good I hope! In the meantime, please check out this wonderfully entertaining story of neighborhood mayhem in southwest Florida. It is full of witty satire and humorous encounters with some ridiculous people and circumstances.
