Surviving “Paradise” and TGIT

Surviving “Paradise” day (a day late but…) and TGIT on TV tonight!  First, please check out my book Surviving “Paradise” by Susan Willoch Shaver.  Follow a southern woman who relocates to a new town in southwest Florida full of great expectations – only to be met by a ridiculous set of people and circumstances.  It is available at for $8.99 in paperback and $3.03 in kindle edition.  There is also a screenplay adaptation and…well, we shall see!!  For more info visit the HOME PAGE at this website and the BUY THE BOOK option on the menu bar.  Thanks for your support!Surviving Paradise

Watched an interesting movie on demand..Good People starring James Franco, Kate Hudson (always enchanting) and Tom Wilkerson.  It was filmed in London and is dark and disturbing with a “happy ending”!

Moving on..the popular theme for Thursdays on TV is TGIT..and there is a whole lot of good TV going on this evening!  Grey’s Anatomy on ABC, Bones on FOX, Parenthood on NBC and of course, the awesome CBS lineup of The Big Bang Theory, Mom and Two and a Half Men (it’s final season)!  Walden and Alan are getting married…bet there is going to be a prenup!!  Sounds like a busy DVR night to me!

Sports on tonight as well..TNF in the NFL will offer the battle in Ohio as the Browns visit the Bengals.  CFB on Thursday night on ESPN will feature an ACC matchup..Clemson vs. Wake Forest.  Gotta go with Dabo and the Tigers!

Some really great CFB games on this Saturday..SEC and Pac 12 match ups.  See my Tuesday post for all the highlights!

Sunday, the ATP Year End Finals in London get underway.  One last week of the best in tennis before the year comes to a close.  Djokovic seems to be the favorite but never, ever count out Mr. Federer!  Roger will be looking ahead to the following week when the Swiss Davis Cup team (the dynamic duo of Federer and Wawrinka) travel to France for the Davis Cup Final.  GO SWISS!

Enjoy your Thursday and tomorrow…TGIF!!!
