Oh, what a world we live in! Tragedy strikes the finish of the Boston Marathon as two explosions occur near the finish of the famed Boston Marathon today. This occurred about three hours after the winners crossed the finish line. Reports are coming in and are currently unconfirmed. Reportedly, 68 people have been taken to a nearby hospital. There are at least 23 injured and 2 people dead. The NY Post reports that 12 are dead. So, right now, chaos and confusion in the midst of this senseless tragedy. This is a very popular and traditional day of revelry in Boston. The Red Sox were playing at Fenway Park which is approximately 1.5 miles away from the race. Red Sox defeated the Rays, 3 -2.
