6 Syracuse and U Conn met last night for the last night, bringing to an end a long standing and always anticipated Big East match up. Syracuse heads to the ACC next year. U Conn was “snubbed” by the ACC. They are also under a postseason ban this year, so they are eligible for the journey, but not the tourney! They certainly played like a tournament worthy team last night, beating the visitors from 6 Syracuse, 66 – 58. Again, I will say it once more, it is tough to win on the road.
Also going down last night was 11 Butler, who fell to Charlotte, 69 – 71.
It has been a crazy year in college basketball so far, and there is so much more to come!
