10 FSU escaped Virginia Tech and the curse of Thursday night in Lane Stadium, 28 – 22. The Noles survived on the basis of a late game winning TD drive. While E J Manuel had a successful night passing, 300+ yards, FSU was held to -15 yards rushing. The game was marred by five turnovers, 3 by VT and 2 by FSU. Never the less, just like last week for Alabama in Baton Rouge, FSU managed a late game winning TD drive (breaking the hearts of Clemson fans everywhere!)
NFL action, Andrew Luck scored two rushing TD’s and led the Colts to a 27 – 10 victory over Jacksonville. (The Jaguars are just not a very good team right now, unfortunately).
On tap for tonight, College Football will offer Pittsburgh (almost upset Notre Dame last weekend) at U Conn (ESPN2). Also, with College Hoops getting underway, Michigan State will square off against U Conn from Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany. Should be great entertainment for all of our troops stationed there!! This will be on ESPN beginning at 5:30 pm EST.
